There was absolutely NO batman oriented decorations. If i walked into the room without any knowledge of the theme, I would've thought it was more likely a casino themed night (all the scattered cards) + Science class hybrid. It seems even our attempted decorations at a batman specific decorations (Gotham City buildings backdrop and Gotham national bank letters) were all discarded last minute. why? no clue. But you're right. Despite all the many problems we had with organization (seemed like to me only 4 people knew wtf was going on) and especially publicity, it turned out A LOT more successful than I expected, which is a very good thing.
